Engage and persist: I messed up on the chairs I made, so I need to remake the seats. I think I will keep the base, though.
Envision: I thought of all the pieces I would need to make the furniture. I had to think of how I will put the pieces together and I need to think of which piece to make next.

I've learned that things might not turn out how you want. It helps to draw out your idea on paper. I like working with plaster gauze. I also liked working with found object. Soft sculpture was fun too. I liked the mobiles but I didn't get to finish mine. Hopefully I can finish it sometime. I also really liked working with paper. I want to finish that as well. I would like to work with plaster gauze again. The most challenging materials for me were floral foam and taskboard. I probably won't work with found object again. It was fun but I'm not very creative.
The 2 Studio Habits of Mind that I've worked on are Develop Craft and Engage and Persist. I worked on Develop Craft by trying out new materials that I don't work with a lot. I worked on Engage and Persist by persisting when I messed up.
I really like taking art classes. I am not very good at art, but I think I'm improving. I took 3D art last year and it's my favorite type of art class. I hope to learn new techniques with common materials. I want to learn how to use less common materials as well. I'm hoping to make really cool sculptures with plaster gauze(or whatever it's called).
